New Beginnings

It has almost been a month since I have had blog therapy, a whole month since I have been alone with my own thoughts and reflections. A whole month of thinking of nothing but others. A whole month that has made me compleletly aware of how fatigued I am. Even the word fatigue feels heavy and exhausting to type.  But ………..today I am ending my misery month and starting afresh.  I dont feel the need to enlighten you with the heaviness of the past month but instead enlighten you with my positive approach that starts today, a mid june resolution. This resolution comes a few weeks short of my 26th birthday, instead of using this new number to excuse the wrinkles and seriousness, I am going to embrace it. I have decided to look on the youthful side of life and LIVE as of today. This past month I have been a mother, wife, friend and daughter in law, I feel aged and haggered from the heavy weight of everyones issues. It wasnt till reflection that I realised they are none of my own issues and again I have forgotten to be me as well as my various roles…………
RESOLUTION ONE:
IS TO PARTY AND BE YOUTHFUL!
Not in a neglectful way to my sweet baby but in a celebratory, make life exciting everyday way. Partying doesnt just mean drunken late nights to me anymore but more being with friends, acting carefree AND dancing. Whether it is at home with my husband, out in town or just with Edie, I will dance, laugh and be ME more.  I will stop being weighed down and embrace this side of 30 before its too late. I will dress up more, catch up with friends more and LAUGH more.
My journey starts today………..
GOODBYE misery month, WELCOME to ‘ME’ month
