Happy Easter Everyone and what a very special Easter it was.
This time last year we announced to our families that we were pregnant, we brought baby clothes for each of them for Easter with a note saying ………………..
“Happy Easter, my mum and dad wanted you to have this for when I come and visit you in december, I love you already.”
It was our special way of telling them our most exciting news. It is so hard to believe that it was a year ago and now she is here, 4 months old.
This Easter we couldnt top last year so instead we just gave photos. I had a photo shoot with my wee princess dressed as the easter bunny. She wasn’t a fan of the ears in the beginnng but after I seeing my enjoyment I think they grew on her. Ill post the photos to the blog.
Easter means different things to everyone, for me its not about the chocolate or egg hunt its about family and appreciation for sacrifice. For me it is a time to spend with those that mean so much to me, to sit back and appreciate the blessings I have been given. I am so lucky that I have such a tight knit family, my family is made up of the most caring, special people with a truly unique bond. Eden is apart of all of them and she is so lucky to have been born into a family with the aunties, grandparents and great grandparents that she has. Just thinking of them all makes me proud.
Time does go so fast and its hard to stop and appreciate every blessing. Especially when there are unpaid bills, jobs to be done and dramas unfolding. But I urge you to stop for a minute today and reflect. The outlook you have on the mundane tasks of daily life will be lighter and brighter. I hope you all had a special Easter filled with family like mine.
My computer is currently in hospital so my blogs are sparse, hold tight, it will be healed soon.xx
